Samit Basu is a seasoned HR professional with over 23 years of experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR Consulting, and Transformation. Currently serving as the HR/TA Transformation Lead at IBM since 2018, Samit focuses on enhancing employee engagement and productivity through automation and AI. Previously, Samit held leadership roles in Talent Acquisition and Global Executive Search, driving significant improvements in diversity hiring and operational efficiency. With a background in Civil Engineering and expertise in team building across diverse geographies, Samit has established a strong track record in strategic talent management and collaboration. Samit holds a PGDBM in HR & Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering at Jadavpur University.
