Steven Purdy

Steven Purdy is an Associate General Counsel at IBM Research, where they lead a team of legal and contracts professionals supporting global innovation efforts. Previously, they served as a Senior Counsel focusing on IP enforcement and corporate litigation at IBM, handling a wide range of intellectual property matters. Prior to joining IBM, Steven worked as an Associate at Locke Lord LLP, advising clients on litigation and intellectual property strategy across various industries. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
