Takashi Ando

Takashi Ando is currently a Principal Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, where they lead the development of new analog memories for Neuromorphic Computing and manage collaborations with universities in the Physics of AI. They earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Osaka University in 2010, following a Master’s and Bachelor’s from the University of Tokyo in 2001 and 1999, respectively. Takashi began their career at Fujitsu Limited in 2001, focusing on Ferroelectric Random Access Memory, and later held positions at Sony Corporation and IBM, contributing significantly to High-k/Metal Gate technology and advanced semiconductor processes. In addition to their research, Takashi has served on program committees for various semiconductor conferences since 2012.
