Tim Amert

Tim Amert is an experienced Advisory Engineer at IBM, having served since December 1983, where responsibilities include leading the manufacturing preload process for POWER servers and contributing to the design of a manufacturing floor control system. Prior to this, Tim gained experience at South Dakota State University in 1982, working with the Remote Sensing Institute on a NASA research project and instructing a laboratory course in the Electrical Engineering Department. Academically, Tim holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where a GPA of 3.87 was achieved, and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University with a GPA of 3.93. Additionally, Tim has completed four graduate courses at Bethlehem College & Seminary, earning 12 credits toward a master's degree.
