Tom Morris has extensive experience in cloud architecture and software engineering, primarily at IBM. From July 2017 to October 2024, Tom served as a Cloud Architect focused on Big Data Analytics and Smarter Commerce Platforms, leading the design of a Kubernetes infrastructure for a data science platform. Prior to this role, from January 2000 to December 2012, Tom held various positions, including Senior Software Engineer and Infrastructure & Operations Lead, where responsibilities encompassed improving web experiences and advocating for IBM technology in competitive contexts. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Western Connecticut State University.
