Daniel Marcelino is a seasoned data and political scientist with extensive experience in both academic and governmental roles. Currently serving as a data/political scientist at JOTA since April 2019 and as a guest professor at Ibmec since July 2019, Daniel also has a background as a technical advisor for the Mayor's office in Curitiba, where responsibilities included strategic planning and policy evaluation from January 2017 to January 2019. Prior experience includes research assistant positions at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA) and the University of Montreal, with a focus on data analysis and project management. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Universidade de Brasília and dual Bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences and Liberal Arts from Universidade Federal do Paraná.
