Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a Senior Platform Engineer at Ibotta, Inc. since October 2021, having previously held the position of Platform Engineer. Prior to Ibotta, Michael served as an Associate Software Engineer at Angi from March 2020 to October 2021 and worked as a Software Engineer at Kapsch TrafficCom North America from January 2019 to March 2020. Early in the career path, Michael gained experience at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences as a Computer Science Peer Learning Assistant from June to December 2018 and as a Computer Science Lab Attendant from June to December 2017. Michael earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences between 2016 and 2018 and also attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2014 to 2015.
