Biswanath Roy has a strong background in IT management and architecture, with experience in various companies and industries. Biswanath'smost recent role was as a Principal Cloud Architect at Imagine Believe Realize, LLC. Prior to that, they worked at the U.S. Census Bureau as a Solution Architect, where they led technical solution assessments and critical design reviews for the Census Enterprise Data Collection and Processing (CEDCaP) systems. Biswanath also reviewed and designed VPCs for CEDCaP systems in AWS GOV. Before that, they served as an IT Manager for Enterprise Mobility at Exelon Energy, where they led the Enterprise Mobility team and implemented Citrix Xen-Mobile solution for device deployment and management. Earlier in their career, they held the position of IT Manager for Enterprise Middleware at Exelon Energy, overseeing middleware architecture design and implementing middleware tools and technologies. Biswanath designed SOA runtime security architectures, integrated Kafka distributed streaming with Enterprise Service Bus, and led integrations between federated service buses. Prior to Exelon Energy, they worked as a Technical Lead for Enterprise Web and Middleware at GE Capital Fleet Services, where they created standards, design patterns, and guidelines for developing SOA services and managed teams responsible for architecting and implementing web and middleware infrastructure. Biswanath also designed and implemented security solutions for web and SOA applications and completed a six-sigma project for identifying and resolving failure components of web applications. Biswanath also worked as a Module Leader for Business Objects at GE Plastics, where they designed and modified universes and converted BO reports and scripts. Biswanath began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Birla Copper.
Biswanath Roy completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mining Machinery Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, from 1991 to 1995. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, attending from 2011 to 2015. Prior to these degrees, they attended Sainik School Purulia for their HSc, but the start and end years are not provided.
