Thierry Pfeiffer

Thierry Pfeiffer has over 25 years of work experience in the aviation industry. Thierry is currently serving as the Vice President - Airline Operations at IBS Software since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President Global Sales at Merlot.aero, a division of CAE Inc., from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Sales Business Development at Laminaar Aviation Infotech Private Limited.

From 2016 to 2019, Thierry was the Vice President Sales and Marketing at OpenAirlines, where they were responsible for promoting software solutions for airlines' flight operations. Before that, they co-founded and served as a Director at Ivelium Ltd. from 2011 to 2016.

In 2011, Thierry worked as the Director - Business Development EMEA at MWC = Mechtronix Systems Inc. + ETOPS, focusing on selling training sessions to airlines. Thierry also had an earlier role at CAE as the Executive Director - Sales and Marketing, where they played a key role in the integration and worldwide sales of Flightscape, a product acquired by CAE.

Thierry's career began at ALYZAIR, where they served as a Director of the Flight Data Monitoring division from 1996 to 2001. Thierry also worked as a Lecturer at City University London, teaching Air Safety Management from 2002 to 2006. Throughout their career, Thierry has gained extensive experience in various aspects of the aviation industry, including sales, business development, and product management.

- Between 1996 and 1999, they studied at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, earning a degree in Systèmes.

- In 1994, they completed a program in Pilote de Lignes Theorique complet at ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile.

- Also in 1994, they obtained the degree of Aspirant in Organisation d'Entraînement des Officiers de Réserve de l'Armée de l'Air from EORAA - Ecole des Officiers de Réserve de l'Armée de l'Air.

- Lastly, from 1990 to 1993, they pursued a DEUG A degree in Mathematics and Physics at the Université de Limoges.
