Dan Berkley

Dan Berkley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Dan started their career at Defense Group Inc as an Administrative Sales Assistant from October 2008 to February 2010. Dan then worked at SRA International as a Cyber Security Engineer for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency from July 2011 to October 2013, where they served as the Information Assurance Officer and supported the C&A DIACAP process for PFPA systems. Following this role, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer for the Anti-Drug Network (ADNET) from October 2013 to November 2014. During their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, they were responsible for improving team coordination to streamline vulnerability management while deploying, maintaining, and administering the HBSS system in compliance with DoD OPORD requirements. Dan'smost recent role was at IBSSCorp, where they worked as a Senior Information Security Engineer for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) starting in November 2014. In this role, they led the deployment, maintenance, and administration of the DoD Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) utilizing the McAfee ePO suite. Dan'sstrategic implementation of ePO configurations standardized enterprise security, leading to reduced network overhead by over 50% and enhanced focusing on actionable threat data.
