Scot Byrd

Scot Byrd is currently the Program Director at IBTS in the City of St. George, Louisiana, where they help establish management procedures for infrastructure planning and development. Previously, Scot served as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Gonzales, promoting economic development and overseeing city administration. As a former Director of Economic Development for Pointe Coupee Parish, they supported business growth and workforce development. Scot also co-owned Byrd Electronics, LLC, from 2000 to 2016 and held various leadership roles in finance and sales management earlier in their career. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Malone University and a certification in Economic Development from Louisiana State University.
