In today’s world there is a major need for construction workers on all levels but not enough skilled workers to fill that need.  Construction industry leaders are coming together with one common goal … to change the stigma related to technical schools and working in the construction industry.  On December 1, 2015, several industry leaders met to discuss how to band together and attract the youth and young adults to consider construction as a valid option when thinking about their career paths.  The result is the creation of this website, www.ibuildcentralflorida.com, which will act as a one stop shop for the industries apprenticeship programs, associations, businesses looking to hire, job descriptions, salary projections and success stories.
