David Mills

President at IC2

David Mills is currently the President at IC2. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Engineering/Principal Engineer from January 2018 to April 2020. Before that, they were a Senior Engineer at IC2 from November 2014 to December 2017.

Mills started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2008 to November 2014. Their dissertation was titled "A sapphire MEMS-based optical shear stress sensor for high-temperature applications." David focused their research on the design, fabrication, and characterization of optical MEMS sensors for various applications.

From May 2007 to August 2007, Mills interned at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. David also interned at Whirlpool Corporation from May 2008 to August 2008, and again from May 2005 to September 2005. Their first internship was also at Whirlpool Corporation from May 2004 to October 2004.

David Mills has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville.
