Simon Hellsten is an accomplished photographer with over 20 years of diverse experience in the field. Owning Simon Hellsten Photography since 2003, Simon has transitioned from a career as a press photographer to specializing in still life, product, and portrait photography. Currently serving as a Senior Photographer and Retoucher at ICA Gruppen since November 2018, Simon contributes to integrated creative campaigns for Sweden's largest in-house agency. Prior experience includes editorial leadership as the Editor-in-Chief at Värnpliktsnytt, where Simon focused on enhancing transparency within the Swedish Armed Forces, and roles as a photographer at Nya Wermlands-tidningen and as a press photographer for Värnpliktsnytt. Educational background includes studies at Göteborgs fotoskola.
