Géraud Servin

Vice President, Strategy And Operations at International Copper Association

Géraud Servin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and organizations. Starting in 1998, they worked as an Officer in Charge at the Ministry of Defence. In 1999, they served as an Associate at Groupe SICASOV. From 2000 to 2009, Géraud worked at FAO in various roles, including International Consultant, Environment Officer, and Associate Professional Officer. In 2009, they became a Senior IT Application Coordinator at ARC Europe. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at the European Copper Institute. In 2012, Géraud joined the International Copper Association as an Assistant Director of Sustainable Development, later becoming a Principal Adviser and Vice President of Strategy. Since 2020, they have been involved with The Copper Mark, first as the Vice-Chair and currently as the Chair of the Board of Directors.

Géraud Servin has a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Université libre de Bruxelles, which they obtained from 1991 to 1997. Géraud also has a Certificate in Management from the American Management Association, obtained in 2001. In addition, Géraud has a Certificate in Staff Development Programme from the FAO of the United Nations, obtained from 2000 to 2006. Géraud also holds a Certificate in Sustainable Environmental Management and Leadership from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 2002. Géraud has an additional certification in Leading Strategically from the Center for Creative Leadership, which they obtained in February 2018.
