Matt Thomas is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security and software engineering, with extensive experience in both technical roles and leadership positions. They began their career as a Software Engineer at The Garret Group and later contributed as a Web Application Developer at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Currently, Matt serves as a Fellow and Principal Engineer of Cyber Security Applied Research at VERISIGN, where they lead strategic initiatives to enhance global DNS security. Additionally, they are an active member of the Board of Directors for the Messaging, Malware, and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) and the Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC) at ICANN.
