Ruth McHugh

Ruth McHugh, MBA, FCPA, FCMA, ICD.D, is an international corporate director and board chair currently operating as the founder and chief strategist of Strategic Advisory Services. With a strong background in governance, accounting, and executive management, Ruth has held various leadership positions, including executive director of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and COO of the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta. Ruth's diverse experience spans public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, where they have facilitated mergers and acquisitions while contributing to multiple boards, including CPA Canada and the Innovation Asset Collective. Ruth's educational credentials include an MBA and specialized governance training from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
