Sam Cheadle

Sam Cheadle possesses a strong academic and professional background in visual perception, neural mechanisms, and data science. Cheadle began as a PhD Student at Birkbeck, University of London from June 2006 to 2009, focusing on the neural mechanisms of visual perception, followed by a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at University College London from March 2010 to September 2012. Cheadle transitioned to a role as a Neuroscience Postdoc at the University of Oxford from September 2012 to October 2014, investigating sub-optimal biases in decision making. Subsequently, Cheadle worked as a Data Scientist at Nominet from July 2018 to July 2023, specializing in cyber security. Currently, Cheadle serves as a Data Science Threat Analyst at ICANN from October 2024 and holds expertise as a Machine Learning Engineer.
