Simon Garside is the Vice President of Security Operations at ICANN since February 2017. Prior to this, Simon worked as an Associate Director at Control Risks from January 2013 to January 2017, and as a Project Manager at Aegis Defence Services Ltd from November 2011 to December 2012. Simon also served as a Training Officer at The Gurkha Contingent Singapore Police Force from August 2009 to September 2011, and as an Army Officer at The Royal Gurkha Rifles from January 2000 to August 2009. Simon holds a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from Durham University.
