Peter Gioia serves as the CIO for US iSwap at TP ICAP since February 2021, following an extensive career in financial technology. Previously, Peter worked at ICAP in the role of Technology Manager for US iSwap and interest rate derivatives, where Peter specialized in creating and implementing trading systems that optimize costs and compliance, including expertise in Dodd-Frank regulations. Consulting experience from 1998 to 2004 involved leading teams to engage directly with traders and management, while prior roles as Vice President at both Greenwich Capital and Morgan Stanley focused on developing comprehensive bond processing frameworks and integrated real-time trading systems, respectively. Peter began the professional journey at Merrill Lynch, contributing significantly to the creation of a tailored trading system for the Mortgage Trading desk. Peter holds a BS in Computer Science from Brooklyn College.
