Michael Schmidt

CEO at ICAROS

Michael Schmidt has had a diverse range of work experiences. In 1997, they founded Neuland Industriedesign and served as the founder until 1999. Following this, they established an office in Munich called formazzo, where they worked as the CEO and collaborated with Johann Fueller to create a new business model called HYVE. In 2000, Michael founded Hyve along with Prof. Dr. Johann Fueller. Michael then co-founded ICAROS GmbH in 2015 and became the CEO, focusing on establishing the company in therapy and rehabilitation. Additionally, in 2020, Michael became a founding member of the XRS Mixed Reality Sports Association.

Michael Schmidt attended FHMünchen for an unknown period of time, where they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Michael then enrolled at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1997, majoring in industrial design and earning a diploma. Additionally, at an unspecified time, they pursued studies in Fine/Studio Arts, General at the Cleveland Institute of Art, without completing a degree.
