Jeff Hargis

Jeff Hargis serves as the Director of Technical Services at ICAST (International Center for Appropriate & Sustainable Technology) since December 2019, where responsibilities include recruiting and managing technical engineering staff and enhancing project processes related to energy efficiency, Demand Side Management (DSM), Distributed Energy Resources, Solar PV, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Previously, Jeff held leadership roles such as President of the Rocky Mountain Professionals Chapter for Engineers Without Borders USA and Board Member for Trees, Water & People. With extensive experience at Hewlett-Packard from 1995 to 2012, Jeff was an Engineering Section Manager responsible for high-end server hardware platforms and also worked as an R&D Project Manager and Senior Engineer. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master's in Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
