Velimir Polyanov

Velimir Polyanov currently serves as the Head of Maritime Simulation at ICB since January 2023, leading the Bulgarian team and combining responsibilities as Engineering Manager, Software Architect, and Line Manager. Prior to this role, Velimir worked at Endava from August 2018 to December 2022 as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Architect, where Velimir was instrumental in building an Online Payment Gateway for a major client and establishing a project that expanded to over 12 teams. Velimir's experience also includes positions at Kongsberg Digital and Kongsberg Maritime as a Senior Software Engineer, Scrum Master, and Software Architect focusing on the K-Sim Ship Bridge Simulator, as well as a significant tenure at ICB from 2004 to 2014 as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead. Velimir began the professional journey as a Software Developer at ProSyst - Bosch Group and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, graduated in 2004.
