Independent Community Bankers of America
Alan Keller is senior vice president for legislative policy for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). He advocates before policymakers and key stakeholders on behalf of community banks with a focus on tax policy, among other issues.
Keller prepares testimony and other communications directed at Congress and serves as staff liaison for ICBA’s Policy Development Committee, where he coordinates the annual development of a comprehensive set of policy resolutions, and for ICBA’s Legislative Issues Committee, where he advises and solicits guidance on issues before Congress from a committee of leading bankers.
Prior to joining ICBA in 2010, Keller worked at several banks, the U.S. Treasury Department, and for a Member of Congress.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara, a Master of Arts from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.
