Martina Dashner

VP, Meetings & Events

Martina Dashner is the VP of Meetings & Events at the Independent Community Bankers of America. Martina has over six years of experience in political fundraising and event planning.

Martina started their career as a Finance Assistant with the Michigan Republican Party. In this role, they were responsible for managing the party's finances and assisting with fundraising efforts. Martina quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to Director of Programs at GOPAC, Inc. In this role, they oversaw all of the organization's fundraising efforts and events.

In 2015, Martina left GOPAC to start their own fundraising consulting company, Bluebonnet Fundraising, LLC. As a co-founder and associate, they provided candidates and political organizations with professional full-service fundraising support, including budgeting, major donor programs, direct mail campaigns, telemarketing, direct solicitation, grassroots development, online giving, event planning, staff and leadership training, and legal compliance.

In their current role as VP of Meetings & Events at the Independent Community Bankers of America, Martina is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's meetings and events. This includes planning, logistics, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. Martina also prepares written proposals, cases for support, or other presentation materials to support individual meetings or events.

Martina Dashner's educational career includes a B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University, and an Executive MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Martina is also certified as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) by the Events Industry Council, and as a Certified Meeting Professional by the Convention Industry Council. Martina has also completed Dale Carnegie Training.

Martina Dashner works with Joe Schneider - SVP, State Relations, Lauren White - Vendor Relations Coordinator, and Thomas Warren - VP, Communications. Their manager is Rebeca Romero Rainey, President & CEO.
