Thomas Warren

Thomas Warren is a vice president of communications for the Independent Community Bankers of America’s® (ICBA). He is responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies and messaging across departments in line with the ICBA mission of creating an environment where community banks flourish.

Warren manages editorial content and dissemination of ICBA’s premier daily news publication, ICBA NewsWatch Today®. He also manages ICBA advocacy communications and serves as principal ICBA copy editor, ensuring the organization’s public policy messaging is clearly articulated, consistent, and reaches the appropriate policymakers while fully engaging the power of ICBA’s membership.

Before joining ICBA, Warren served as an associate director of media relations at the American Physical Therapy Association, where he managed the organization’s public policy communications and media relations.

Warren has a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in government from Johns Hopkins University.
