ICBC Aviation Leasing Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ICBC Leasing, was established in Hong Kong in March 2018 with a registered capital of USD 1.2 billion. ICBC Leasing, established in 2007 with a registered capital of CNY 18 billion, is wholly owned by ICBC Bank. ICBC Leasing is one of the leading players in China’s leasing industry with a local and overseas asset portfolio worth more than CNY 300 billion.
At the end of 2018, ICBC Aviation Leasing owned and managed 668 aircraft, among which 385 commercial aircraft were in operation. ICBC Avation Leasing provides innovative fleet leasing solutions for 83 domestic and global airline clients across 38 countries and regions. The fleet value in operation exceeds CNY 100 billion and ranks No. 6 worldwide and No. 1 in China. 
ICBC Aviation Leasing has won important awards from many Chinese and international authorities, such as Airfinance Journal, Airline Economics, Global Transport Finance and Financial News. Its growing business has spurred the company’s social responsibility. Together with airlines and manufacturers, ICBC Aviation Leasing launched a special CSR project, in which they invite students from Chinese western provinces to fly on an ARJ21 and visit manufacturers to learn about aircraft and their production lines. The goal is to broaden the participants’ horizons and to encourage them to set higher life goals.
