Tom Barkimer

Tom Barkimer is an Assistant Professor at Trine University, specializing in plastics engineering since 2013. With over 30 years of experience in materials engineering, they have worked extensively in the automotive and truck materials sectors. Additionally, Tom has served as Chief Engineer for the Materials Engineering Group at Navistar since 2007, having previously managed the Non-Metallic Materials and Fasteners department from 1990 to 2007. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Purdue University Fort Wayne.
