Abel Oommen

Abel Oommen is a Cybersecurity Engineer at ICE since April 2024, contributing to a global data and technology company that operates digital networks across various asset classes, including futures and equity exchanges. Prior experience includes serving as a Cyber Security Analyst at Wales & West Utilities from October 2022 to April 2024, and as a Security Analyst at Tata Communications from July 2019 to July 2021, recognized as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Services. Abel also worked as a Course Representative for the ECS Department at the University of Southampton from September 2021 to September 2022, and held internships at Grey Technolabs and Keltron in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Abel holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
