Chris McDermott is currently the Head of Market Regulation at ICE Futures Europe, overseeing a department of over 30 staff to ensure compliance with UK and international regulatory standards. They previously served as Senior Director of Market Regulation at Intercontinental Exchange from 2019 to 2023 and held various roles within ICE from 2011 to 2013, including Market Analyst and Director of Corporate Actions and Operations. Chris earned a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey between 2006 and 2010.
