Gordon Bennett is the Managing Director of Utility Markets and Global Head of Environmental Markets at Intercontinental Exchange, where they focus on promoting the adoption of environmental markets. With a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh, they have built a near 30-year career in financial services across London and New York. Recognized as Environmental Finance’s Sustainability Business Leader of the Year in 2022, Bennett is also a co-founder of the ICE Sustainable Finance Working Group and serves on several advisory boards and committees, including the Climate Financial Risk Forum’s Transition to Net Zero Working Group. Prior to their role at ICE, they held various leadership positions at Marex, Spectron, and Arthur Andersen & Co.
