Hester Serafini

President, ICE Clear Europe at ICE

Hester Serafini is the President and COO of ICE Clear U.S., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange. Hester has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry.

Ms. Serafini began their career at Goldman Sachs in May 1999, where they served as Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of the Derivatives Prime Brokerage Business. Hester left Goldman Sachs in July 2006 to join Deutsche Bank as Managing Director and Global Head of Credit Prime Brokerage and Clearing, as well as US head of Rates Prime Brokerage and Clearing. Ms. Serafini remained with Deutsche Bank until October 2012, when they joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Managing Director and EMEA Head of OTC Clearing and Intermediation Business for Credit, FX, and Rates Derivatives. Hester held this position until May 2015, when they were appointed President and COO of ICE Clear U.S.

Ms. Serafini has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School.
