Matt Mehalso

Matt Mehalso currently serves as Senior Director of Risk Architecture at ICE since August 2015, overseeing a portfolio of Clearing and Risk projects within the derivatives business and focusing on the modernization of technology architecture and systems. Previously, Matt held various roles at ICE including Director and Manager in Clearing Technology, leading teams in the design and implementation of critical post-trade systems. Matt's earlier experience includes positions as Lead Developer at BlueFletch Consulting, Technical Architect at CapTech, and Senior Consultant at CapTech. Matt has also worked as a Consultant at Clever Devices, a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Acision, and a Consultant at Accenture, where contributions included the development of Java-based web applications for the USPS. Matt began a career in technology after earning a BS in Computer Engineering and Engineering Business from the University of Virginia in 2006, following an internship at Place Properties from 2003 to 2004.
