Mehdi Maherzi is an experienced financial analyst with a strong background in risk management and trading within the commodities and energy markets. Currently serving as a Metal Risk Analyst at the London Metal Exchange since April 2017, Mehdi focuses on daily market monitoring and assessing risk exposure for member portfolios, alongside implementing improvements in monitoring processes. Concurrently, Mehdi has held the position of Oil Market Risk Analyst at Intercontinental Exchange since 2012, where responsibilities include managing credit and market risks, reviewing new product clearances, and developing stress testing scenarios. Previous experience includes a role as Trader Assistant on the Flow & Structured Equity Derivatives Desk at Nomura International plc from 2011 to 2012.
