Mike West currently serves as the Exchange Director for OCC, representing the NYSE on the OCC Board of Directors since September 2024. Prior to this role, Mike has held significant positions at ICE, including Head of Operations and Head of Transaction Business Operations, both focusing on operational excellence within the NYSE. From 2001 to September 2015, Mike served as Senior Director of NYSE Options at NASDAQ OMX and held various leadership roles that contributed to the launch of key options markets. Earlier experience includes positions as Managing Director of Sales at Pershing and VP of Trading Systems at The Philadelphia Stock Exchange. Mike West holds an MS in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Computer Science from Rutgers College.
