Nigel Avey

Nigel Avey is an experienced professional with a strong background in compliance, legal affairs, and governance. Currently serving as an elected Councillor at Epping Town Council since May 2023, Nigel has held various significant positions throughout his career, including Vice-Chairman of the Exchange's Authorisation and Rules Committee at ICE and Chief Compliance Officer at Integral Development Corporation (Europe) Limited. Prior experience includes serving as an elected Councillor for Epping Forest District Council, Head of Compliance at Vantage Capital Markets LLP, and Director of Legal and Compliance at MF Global. Nigel also held compliance roles at Gerrard & King and Old Mutual Holdings (UK), overseeing regulatory responsibilities across multiple organizations. Nigel holds a BA Hons in Law from Forest School London.
