Rohan Fernandes

Rohan Fernandes is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management, particularly in market, credit, and operational risk for derivatives. Currently serving as Director of Risk Management at Intercontinental Exchange since September 2011, Rohan has developed and implemented large-scale Quantitative Risk Management models and systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial markets and associated risks. Prior experience includes serving as Risk Systems Manager at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where Rohan spearheaded the strategy and architecture for credit derivatives risk management systems. Earlier roles at Bosch involved managing significant sales accounts and R&D in spark plug technology. Rohan holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
