Sharon Bowen

Sharon Bowen is the Director at Intercontinental Exchange. Prior to their current position, they served as Commissioner of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission from January 2014 to December 2017. Bowen also has experience as Vice Chair and Acting Chair of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) from January 2010 to December 2014. In addition, they were a partner at Latham & Watkins from January 1988 to December 2014 and an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from January 1982 to December 1988.

Sharon Bowen earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Virginia. Sharon then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Law from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
