Ruby Maynard Smith

Ruby Maynard Smith is an experienced professional in urban studies and policy analysis, holding a Master of Science in Urban Studies from UCL and a BA in Politics and Geography from the University of Leeds. Ruby's career includes roles as Researcher and Policy Analyst at JustSpace, Public Programmes Manager and Project Coordinator at Open City, and Urban Researcher at Beispiel, focusing on placemaking and public space analysis. Currently serving as Consultant and Senior Consultant at Iceni Projects, Ruby specializes in community and stakeholder engagement within built environment projects. Additional experience includes leading engagement initiatives for Camden Council with make:good and representing youth interests for the Labour Party in Islington. Ruby has also served as Events Officer and Women's Liberation Officer at the University of Leeds, with a background in language tutoring in Paris.
