Michael Baum is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in technology and sustainable ventures. As the Founder and CEO of The Yope Foundation since September 2012, Michael leads an accelerator for high-performance founders in deep tech. In parallel, Michael also founded Splunk Inc. in 2003, a leading data analytics platform. Additional board memberships and investments include key roles at ICEYE, KONUX, Gemini, Newtree Impact, Volumental, Eko Devices, and unu GmbH, focusing on advanced technologies in fields such as satellite operations, AI, healthcare, and sustainable agriculture. Michael holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Computer Science from Drexel University, complemented by wine education certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
