Adam Parris is dedicated to using actionable science and inclusive civic engagement for public good, focusing on equitable solutions to climate and societal change. They previously served as the Deputy Director of Climate Science and Services at the Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice in New York City. Earlier in their career, Adam led the Science and Resilience Institute at Jamaica Bay and has worked for NOAA, advising federal agencies and states on climate issues. Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Environmental Geology from Bucknell University and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Vermont. They currently engage in senior roles at ICF, continuing their commitment to climate resilience and adaptation.
