Ashley Walsh

International Labor Anaylst

Ashley Walsh is an experienced international labor analyst currently embedded with the Department of Labor's Bureau of International Labor Affairs, focusing on research related to child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking in Latin America and the Caribbean at ICF since November 2022. Previously, Ashley served as an environmental defender researcher for the U.S. Department of State in Colombia and completed legal internships at the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and the Environmental Defense Fund, specializing in energy matters in Puerto Rico. Early career experience includes teaching English and related subjects at CEIP Espartales in Spain. Ashley holds a Juris Doctor degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies from Vanderbilt University, with minors in Economics and Environmental and Sustainability Studies.
