Brian Lohstroh

Brian Lohstroh is an accomplished Principal Biologist at Lohstroh Biological Consulting since March 2010 and has held multiple Senior Biologist positions with ICF, Balk Biological, Inc., and Rocks Biological Consulting since 2016 and 2015, respectively, providing expert biological consulting on an as-needed basis. Prior experience includes a decade at URS Corporation and a role as a Biologist at Varanus Biological Services, Inc. Beginning in the field as a Volunteer Biologist for the Student Conservation Association in 1998, Brian contributed to important desert tortoise studies and supported U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service efforts as a student volunteer. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution from UC San Diego between 1993 and 1997.
