David Jones

David Jones is a Senior Managing Consultant at ICF, bringing 20 years of expertise in analyzing potential markets and modeling technical, economic, and environmental aspects of distributed energy resources (DERs) for government clients and energy industry stakeholders. Since joining ICF in December 2015, David leads initiatives focused on combined heat and power (CHP), district energy, and microgrids, utilizing strategic analysis and effective communication to deliver insights to clients. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Engineer at Resource Dynamics Corporation, where David modeled distributed generation/CHP systems, and as Engineering Aide at DISA, where research and data analysis were performed. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
