Heather Goodson is a Sr. Architectural Historian and Sr. Manager at ICF, where they specialize in historic resources surveys, historic structures reports, and compliance with NHPA Section 106 and NEPA. Heather has previously worked as a Historic Preservation Specialist at the Texas Department of Transportation and has held roles including Department Manager of Historic Preservation at Mead & Hunt and Oklahoma Office Manager/Historic Preservation Manager at Cox|McLain Environmental Consulting, Inc. They earned a BA in Political Science and Geography from Texas State University and completed an MS in Historic Preservation and Community & Regional Planning at the University of Oregon. Heather has also served as a Project Manager for the Oregon Natural Hazards Workshop prior to their extensive contributions to the field of historic preservation.
