Heidi Mekkelson

Heidi Mekkelson is a Senior Managing Director and Planning Team Leader at ICF, bringing over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on CEQA and NEPA compliance. Previously, they worked as a Principal Planner at Eyestone Environmental, where they managed significant projects like the Century Plaza Mixed-Use Project EIR and the Paramount Pictures Master Plan EIR. Earlier in their career, they served as Project Manager at Christopher A. Joseph & Associates and as a Laboratory Assistant at Dr. Jed Fuhrman Marine Microbiology Laboratory. Heidi holds a Master of Science in Law with a concentration in Water and Environmental Law from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California, where they continue their education.
