John Auerbach is a seasoned public health leader with extensive experience in various high-level positions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for Public Health at ICF, Auerbach previously held significant roles such as Director of Intergovernmental and Strategic Affairs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from June 2021 to December 2022, and President and CEO of Trust for America's Health from January 2017 to June 2021. Auerbach also served as the Director of Policy and Director of State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support at the CDC from October 2014 to January 2017. Other notable positions include Distinguished Professor and Director of the Institute on Urban Health Research at Northeastern University and Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
