Karen Crawford

Karen Crawford, MA, RPA, is a cultural resources specialist with extensive experience in Section 106, NEPA, and CEQA compliance. They began their career in archaeology in 1996 and have held various roles, including Technical Director and Senior Director of Cultural Resources at ICF, where they currently lead a team focused on technical excellence and compliance. They were awarded the "Outstanding Resource Document Award" by the California Chapter of the Association of Environmental Professionals for a significant project prepared for the US Department of the Interior. Additionally, they served as a board member for the San Diego Archaeological Center, supporting its mission as a vital educational and research facility. Karen holds a BA in Anthropology and Asian Studies, as well as an MA in Anthropology with an emphasis on Archaeology.
