Lashanda Skelton

LaShanda Skelton currently serves as the Head Start Grants Specialist/Data Analyst for Region IV at ICF, starting in June 2023. Previously, LaShanda held various roles in early childhood education, including Early Head Start/Head Start Coordinator at Premier Academy from March 2019 to September 2021, where responsibilities included managing collaborations for quality childcare services. LaShanda also worked as an Early Head Start Family Support Specialist at Sheltering Arms Early Education and Family Centers and spent over six years at Ninth District Opportunity, Inc. as a Family Partner, focusing on assisting low-income families. Early career experience includes roles at ABM Industries, Inc. and IMCF as a Risk Management & Insurance Services Coordinator and Independent Agent respectively. LaShanda holds a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Career Management and Counseling from the University of the Rockies, a Master of Science in Judicial Administration with Paralegal Certification from Auburn University at Montgomery, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business from Troy University.
