Laura McMullen

Managing Director

Laura McMullen is a seasoned professional in aquatic ecology and freshwater biology, currently serving as Managing Director and Senior Manager for Pacific Northwest Fisheries and Aquatics at ICF since March 2018. Laura oversees project personnel and manages various projects focused on salmonid habitat ecosystem modeling and western freshwater mussel ecology, collaborating with a diverse clientele including government agencies and tribes. Previous roles include Conservation Biologist at the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, where Laura contributed to the protection of at-risk invertebrates, and various academic positions such as Instructional Faculty at Washington State University Vancouver and Adjunct Faculty at Columbia Gorge Community College. With a PhD in Zoology from Oregon State University and extensive experience in river ecology and ecosystem management, Laura's work also emphasizes innovative environmental problem-solving and education.
